Year-Round, Keeper Sturgeon

Keeper Sturgeon can be a blast to catch! These fish move in and out of the Willamette and Columbia River system. More specifically we will most likely be fishing in Astoria, downtown Portland or near the Bonneville Dam. You’ll be using high quality light tackle to bring these guys in!
April – May, Spring Chinook

April – May, Spring Chinook

Spring Chinook are some of the best tasting salmon in the world! These fish can also be some of the toughest fish to catch. You can be assured that we’ll be using all the “tricks” to increase our chances of catching these guys. We will either be fishing the lower Willamette or upper Columbia River.
Oversize Sturgeon

May – November, Oversize Sturgeon

These fish average between 7&10 feet in length and can weigh over 500lbs! Reeling in one of these fish often requires teamwork and is one of the greatest thrills you will ever experience. On top of that, we will be fishing in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. Eat your Wheaties and don’t forget your camera!
Summer Chinook

June-July, Summer Chinook

If you like fishing in warm weather, then this fishery is for you! Like the Spring Chinook, these fish are some of the best eating fish. You will be fishing on the mid to upper Columbia River system.
Ocean Coho

June-September, Ocean Coho

Experiencing what the ocean has to offer in a full open boat with just a few people without smelling diesel fumes all day in awesome! Chances are we will be fishing out of Depoe Bay. Usually we are fishing within 10 minutes of leaving the harbor. Don’t forget your cooler to bring home your catch!
Early Fall Chinook

August-September, Early Fall Chinook

This can be some of the best Chinook fishing of the year. Not only that, but this is your best chance to catch some of the largest Chinook that Oregon has to offer. Most of my time is spent in Astoria for this fishery, but we may be fishing a little higher in the Columbia River or Tillamook Bay.
Late Fall Chinook

September-November, Late Fall Chinook

We are trolling up the beautiful Siletz river and you are admiring the fall colors starting to take place and all the sudden your rod lights up with a monster Chinook. At the end of this day you will have to pinch yourself to make sure you are not dreaming! If the Siletz River is slow then we will be fishing in Tillamook Bay.
